• Create multisensory pathways for students with dyslexia and striving readers
• Address the 10 Common Causes of Failure in phonics instruction
• Accelerate phonics development through authentic reading & writing practice

AFTERNOON WORKSHOP: Phonics Instruction in Spanish
12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Spend the afternoon with NABE Leadership Award winner and biliteracy expert Silvia Dorta-Duque de Reyes as she illustrates how to leverage the connection between best practices in Spanish and English phonics instruction in order to promote cross-linguistic transfer and accelerate Spanish phonics learning!
